Dear Pequannock Valley School Families,
The 2022-2023 School year is here and Pequannock Valley School is excited to welcome our students back to what is sure to be an exciting, fun-filled educational experience. The administration and staff have been busy preparing the school for the students’ arrival on Thursday, September 8th. Your teachers have visited the building throughout the summer and will be preparing in the days leading up to the first day with students.. It is always a pleasure to meet the students on the first day and prepare them for a year filled with Knowledge, Spirit and Promise.
Middle School is a tremendous time for growth, opportunity, and development. As always, please know that the entire PV staff is ready, willing, and able to assist students and parents in any way that we can. At the 6th grade orientation, we discussed the theme for the year with students and parents - the Pillars of Character. Everything that everyone does each day in the building can be connected back to one of the 6 pillars: Trustworthiness, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship, and Respect. Those ideas have been in our cafeteria and hallways for several years and after different kinds of challenges in the last three years, we are looking ahead to and focusing on some of the basics that have always made PV a special place.
The staff and administration remain committed to providing challenging, rigorous, and relevant instructional programming tied to meaningful family/student support services. Although we cannot promise you the grades you want for your child, we can promise you we will be immediately responsive to your questions and concerns. We are a community of learners and cannot be successful unless we all work together to help our students achieve success in all that they do. If ever you feel that is not the case, we encourage you to contact us.
We wish you the best of luck as we work together to ensure that all of our students reach their fullest potential. Go Panthers!
